RE: Pancake digging
Congratulations Grandpa/Grandma!
What incubation temps, humidity and method will you be using? Is there any 'special handling', like diapause, that is needed? Tell us more!! |

RE: Pancake digging
Thanks!! I incubate Pancake eggs at 86-88F on dry Hatchrite. The ambient humidity in the incubator is around 70%. I don't do anything special with Pancake eggs. They go directly in the incubator until they hatch. I have had them hatch any where from 95-180 days. I have heard they diapause for a month or more intially, but I have not seen this 100% of the time. I do not cool them like I do Pyxis eggs.
